These terms apply to all contracts for She Owns Day tickets and related add-ons. The organiser and contracting party is She Owns GmbH, Clemensstr. 19a, 80803 Munich, Germany, HRB 313734, Munich Local Court, managing director Lisa Gruber, info@she-owns.de (“She Owns”). The venue is the Ballhausforum at the Infinity Hotel & Conference Resort Munich, Andreas-Danzer-Weg 1–3, 85716 Unterschleißheim. Conflicting terms of the buyer do not apply. This English version is for information; the German version is legally binding.
Tickets are sold through a ticketing system linked from she-owns.de. The provider only supplies the technical platform and handles orders and payment on our behalf. By clicking the purchase button you make a binding offer, and the contract is concluded when you receive the order confirmation by email. She Owns may reject orders for good cause. If a ticket allocation is oversold for technical reasons, She Owns may cancel the affected tickets against a full refund. The contract language is German.
The prices shown when you order apply. All prices are final prices including VAT; you do not pay any further fees. Payment is due when the contract is concluded. Early bird prices apply until the stated date or until the allocation is sold out, and there is no claim to a refund of the difference afterwards. For groups of 10 or more, She Owns provides a custom quote on request at info@she-owns.de. Discount and promo codes are valid only for the stated purpose and group of people and may not be sold or shared publicly. In case of misuse, She Owns may cancel tickets bought with them against a refund.
What a ticket includes is set out in the ticket description at the time of purchase. Each ticket is valid for one person. When ordering, you enter the attendee’s name and email address for each ticket. If you buy several tickets and the attendees have not yet been decided, please add their names up to 14 days before the event. If you forget to do so or the platform is not working, you can complete the personalisation up to the day of the event or have it corrected at check-in on site. This requires that the purchase can be identified, for example by the order number or the purchase confirmation, and that there are no objective reasons against it, such as a suspicion of unauthorised resale. At entry, She Owns may ask for official photo ID to check it against the name on the ticket. Minor differences in spelling are disregarded.
You can have your ticket transferred to another person free of charge up to 14 days before the event, via the ticketing system or by email to info@she-owns.de. After that, a transfer is only possible on request by email to info@she-owns.de. Commercial resale, resale on secondary market and auction platforms and resale above the price paid are not permitted. She Owns may block tickets that have demonstrably been resold in this way. Anyone who breaks this rule has no right to a refund. The statutory rights of buyers who were unaware of the unauthorised resale remain unaffected. The badge is personal and must be worn visibly during the event.
For tickets to a leisure event on a fixed date, there is no statutory right of withdrawal under Section 312g(2) no. 9 of the German Civil Code. Tickets cannot be returned or exchanged, including if you cannot attend because of illness or other personal reasons. Instead, you can have your ticket transferred under clause 4. Your rights in the event of a cancellation under clause 6 remain unaffected.
The programme, speakers, times and rooms may change. Individual changes, such as replacing a speaker or adjusting the schedule, are no reason for a refund as long as the overall concept is preserved: a full-day programme with a Main Stage and Deep Dives on the topics of She Owns. If She Owns cancels the event, She Owns refunds all amounts paid for the ticket in full. If the event is moved to another date or venue, your ticket remains valid. If attending on the new date or at the new venue is unreasonable for you, She Owns will refund all amounts paid for the ticket in full on request. We announce cancellations and postponements on she-owns.de and by email. She Owns only reimburses further costs, such as travel or hotel, if She Owns caused the cancellation intentionally or through gross negligence.
Doors open at 08:15; entry requires a valid ticket (for the name check, see clause 4). She Owns exercises the house rules during the event, and the house rules of the Infinity Hotel & Conference Resort Munich also apply. She Owns is a place for respectful exchange: harassment, discrimination, threats and demeaning behaviour are not tolerated. Weapons and dangerous items, selling goods or services, handing out advertising and unauthorised marketing activities are also not permitted. In case of serious violations, or if you continue a violation after being warned, She Owns may refuse entry or ask you to leave the event. If the exclusion is due to a violation for which you are responsible, there is no right to a refund.
Photos and videos are taken at She Owns Day, and the talks are recorded. What happens to the recordings and how you can object is set out in section 20 (“Photos and videos”) of our privacy policy. You may take photos for private use. Audio and video recordings of entire talks and their publication are not permitted without the consent of She Owns and the speaker.
She Owns is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act and where a guarantee has been given. In cases of slight negligence, She Owns is only liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place. Liability is then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. These limitations also apply to employees, agents and vicarious agents of She Owns.
The talks and deep dives provide general knowledge. They do not replace individual legal, tax or financial advice.
How She Owns processes your data is explained in the privacy policy. We only share data with partners, exhibitors and companies in the Corporate Lounge with your express consent. German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers habitually resident abroad, the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country remain unaffected. If the buyer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Munich. She Owns is neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Should individual provisions of these terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. The invalid provision is replaced by the statutory provisions.
